Did you know we carry several specialty items that you might use in bags or other Home Dec items?
Did you know we carry Kwik Sew patterns? We have a small sampling in stock and can order anything from the catalogue for you. On occasion we offer a garment class such as the upcoming class with Mary Bajcz - Serendipity. Mary made a great jacket from reclaimed silk and she'll be showing how to do it in her upcoming class. She says Rayon also works well with her techniques. Trudy will be teaching how to construct a jacket built on a sweatshirt. Pull out all those beautiful fat quarters you've been hoarding and make yourself a great jacket!
New! We have a selection of hand dyed fabrics in stock from Natures Colours in Alberta. Check it out! We have charm packs with 35 different colours for you applique enthusiasts!
Vinyl MeshWe now have vinyl mesh in lots of colours green, yellow, blue, white, red, and black. This is great for projects such as the mesh bag class.
Gift Giving? We have a nice assortment of bags in the store made by Two Bag Ladies. The bags are beautifully made and available in a variety of fabrics. Be sure to look them over when you're in!
More beautiful beaded items from K & M Lampwork. We have lots of scissor/cellphone charms as well as beaded necklaces and bracelets. Marie and Kara make many of the these beautiful beads from "scratch" and then put them into the items you see on display. Check it out!
Special orders are always welcome. If you saw a neat gadget or heard about a new book you'd like to have - Just ask for it! We'll do our best to get it for you. Just like Burger King, only without the funny hats!
Bold Over works in collaboration with artists in Malaysia to make beautiful, unique fabrics that you'll love. The fabric is produced in pieces, not by the bolt, in a process that involves several families working in their homes over a period of a couple of weeks. The artists are fairly paid, no sweat shops!
It is nice to buy a product that makes you feel good about how it is made but if it was not drop-dead gorgeous who would buy it? No problem there! Take a look at their web site, or better yet come in to Quilting Confections and touch it, admire it, love it!
If we don't already have what you want, we would be happy to order anything that pleases you, so let us know.
